Zanaco FC Strengthens Squad with Eight New Signings

Zanaco Football Club has announced the signing of eight new players as the team gears up for the highly anticipated 2025/2026 MTN Super League season. These fresh additions are set to boost the squad’s competitiveness and bring a blend of experience, youth, and versatility across key positions.
Among the new recruits is midfielder Ian Sindayi, joining from Forest Rangers on a two-year contract. Sindayi is expected to add creativity and dynamism to Zanaco’s midfield engine. The club has also secured the services of seasoned goalkeeper Francis Mwansa on a free transfer from Green Buffaloes, signing him for three years to provide stability between the posts.
Defensively, Zanaco has strengthened its backline with central defender Tinkler Sinkala, who arrives from Kabwe Warriors on a three-year deal, and left-back Garvin Mukandamweene from Trident FC, who has committed for two and a half years. Additionally, experienced left-back John Chishimba joins from Zesco United on a two-year contract, further solidifying defensive options.
The midfield will be further reinforced by Malawian international Idana Chimwemwe, signed from Silver Strikers on a two-year deal. In a bid to deepen attacking resources, Zanaco FC has acquired midfielder Chipo Manda and striker Eliya Mandanji on two-season loan deals from Kafue Celtic.
