Zambia Fields Strong Contingent for ITTF World Table Tennis Championships in Doha

The Zambia Table Tennis Association (ZTTA) has announced with excitement that a talented team of four national players will proudly represent the nation at the prestigious ITTF World Table Tennis Championships set to take place in Doha, Qatar. The team comprises two accomplished female players who will compete in the Women’s Doubles category and two skilled male players who will participate in the Men’s Doubles event.

In the Women’s Doubles Zambia will be represented by Latifa Nalavwe from Green Buffaloes Table Tennis Club and Mubanga Kunda from NASDEC Table Tennis Club.
The women’s doubles pair is scheduled to depart for Doha on May 16th and will return on May 27th, 2025.
While in Men’s Doubles, Choolwe Hamalambo from NASDEC Table Tennis Club and Charles Banda from Green Buffaloes Table Tennis Club will battle for honours for Zambia.
The men’s doubles team has departed on Wednesday and will also return on May 27th, 2025.

National Organisation for Women in Sport Physical Activity and Recreation (NOWSPAR) – for providing the official kits for the female team members.
