We have to start picking points at Edwin Imboela – Phiri

Nkwazi Football Club head coach Keagan Phiri says his side is determined to turn Edwin Imboela Stadium into a fortress, starting with this afternoon’s Week Five MTN Super League clash against Konkola Blades at 15:00.
The 12th-placed outfit is yet to record a victory this season, with three draws and one defeat. Their ninth-placed opponents, Konkola Blades, have managed one win, two draws, and a single loss.
Speaking ahead of the match, Phiri said his players are ready to change their fortunes after a 1-1 draw away to Zanaco.
“We’re at home. We’ve lost one here and drawn one, so we have to start picking points at Edwin Imboela. This is the game where we have to change the narrative of what’s happened in the last two games,” he said.
The coach admitted there is pressure on the team but remained confident.
“We didn’t plan to go into the fifth game without a win, but football is like that. We just have to react and get the three points,” Phiri said, adding that concentration lapses have cost them in previous matches.
Phiri confirmed no major injury concerns apart from Crawford Mwaba, who remains sidelined.
