OYDC Zambia Sports Development Committee Holds Quarter One Meeting as OYDC Zambia’s Baseball5 Receives Jersey Donation from Faithrise Investment Limited

The OYDC Zambia Sports Development Committee convened its Quarter One meeting today to assess progress made and to outline strategic priorities for the coming period.

A key highlight of the meeting was the donation of sports jerseys to the OYDC Zambia Baseball5 team by Faithrise Investment Limited. The presentation was made by Mr. Kenny Matishi President of Zambia Baseball5, who officially handed over the new jerseys to the OYDC Zambia Programs Office. The donation is aimed at supporting the team’s continued participation in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge and encouraging greater youth involvement in the sport of Baseball5.

The Teulings Youth Sports Challenge, implemented at OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre, is a flagship initiative that promotes youth engagement across multiple sports disciplines.

OYDC Zambia Baseball5 team has made notable strides in recent years, serving as a platform for identifying and nurturing young talent while instilling values of discipline and teamwork.
