Zanaco Football Club’s latest signing, 19-year-old defender Nyembe Okechi Alon, says he is eager to make his mark in the Zambian Super League after completing a one-year move from Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, the young defender expressed excitement about the new chapter in his career. “I am very happy to join Zanaco FC. The move marks Alon’s first stint outside Tanzania, and his arrival is expected to bolster Zanaco’s defense as the Lusaka-based club seeks to improve its league standing this season.
