Nsiku Drafted Into Chipolopolo Squad for Morocco Clash

Chipolopolo defender Happy Nsiku has been drafted into the national team squad ahead of Monday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Morocco in Ndola.

Nsiku, who impressed at the recent 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, joins camp as a late inclusion following weekend league action.

Bahrain-based Frankie Musonda and Spain-based Gift Siame are among the early arrivals, alongside goalkeepers Mwenya Chibwe, Charles Kalumba, Toaster Nsabata and Lawrence Mulenga.

Spanish-based David Hamansenya, Dominic Chanda, Gift Mphande, Sadam Phiri and Matthews Banda have also reported.

More foreign-based players are expected later today, with physical trainer Jamie Lawrence set to conduct fitness tests before the squad is trimmed to 24.

Tickets for the much-anticipated clash are already on sale, with kickoff set for 15h00 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
