Mufulira Wanderers, Coach Tenant Chilumba Part Ways by Mutual Agreement

Mufulira Wanderers Football Club has confirmed the departure of Head Coach Tenant Chilumba following a mutual separation, effective 13th June 2025.

In a statement released by the club’s board, the decision was reached after a series of internal engagements and consultations with Chilumba’s representative, Mr. Nawa Nyambe. Although the coach had tendered his resignation, the club stated that it had, after thoughtful deliberation, agreed to a mutual parting in the interest of maintaining harmony and progress.

Chilumba joined the legendary Zambian club in October 2024, and the club acknowledged his efforts and contribution during his tenure.

“We acknowledge and appreciate his contribution during his time with the club and wish him nothing but success in his future coaching endeavors,” the club noted.

Mufulira Wanderers now looks to the future and has begun the process of identifying a new head coach that fits its long-term vision and development goals.

The club also extended gratitude to its supporters, stakeholders, and the broader football community for their continued trust and encouragement during this transitional phase.
