Mapande Confident FC Leopards Will Roar To First Win Against Red Arrows

Despite a winless start to the MTN/FAZ Super League season, FC Leopards are brimming with belief ahead of their clash with high-flying Red Arrows this Sunday at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Industrious midfielder Joshua Mapande has expressed optimism that the team can finally register their first victory of the campaign, despite facing a formidable opponent in the Zambia Air Force (ZAF)-sponsored side.
“We are aware of the pedigree of Red Arrows. They are a big club, but we are ready for them and want to record our first win of the season,” said Mapande in an interview with the club.
The youthful winger, known for his work rate and passion, acknowledged that the team’s current form is a concern but believes their fortunes are about to change.
“It’s a mindset. Players are working hard in training. We ask all faithful fans to trust every player. We love this club and we want the best for the fans,” he added.
Red Arrows currently sit second on the log with 14 points, while FC Leopards are languishing in 14th position with just five points. Despite the gap, Mapande believes the determination in the Leopards’ camp could prove decisive.
Kick-off is set for Sunday at Nkoloma Stadium, where Leopards will be aiming to silence the Air Men and finally ignite their season.
