Lumwana Radiants Coach Granted Leave for Medical Attention
 
            Lumwana Radiants Football Club has confirmed that head coach Bilton Musonda has been granted permission to travel to Lusaka for medical attention and consultation regarding his future role with the team.
In a statement released by club General Secretary Jonathan Mapipo, the Radiants said they will await medical guidance before making any decisions about Musonda’s continued tenure.
“He will also seek medical advice on his continued role as Head Coach, and the club will await this guidance before making further decisions,” the statement read.
First Assistant Coach Allan Kamwanga will take charge of the team in Musonda’s absence and manage the club’s affairs during this period.
The club expressed gratitude to Musonda for his service and called on supporters to rally behind the team.
“We thank Coach Musonda for his service, wish him a speedy recovery, and call on all our supporters to keep him in their prayers while rallying behind the team,” Mapipo said.
Lumwana Radiants are 14th on the log with five points from six matches, with one win, two draws and three defeats.
