Foreign Legion Joins Junior Chipolopolo as Final Squad Assembles for U20 AFCON Battle in Egypt

The Zambia U20 Men’s National Team squad is shaping up following the arrival of foreign-based players in Egypt ahead of the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

According to FAZ Media, the trio of Georgia-based duo Frank Chileshe and Bonephanseo Phiri and Cadiz CF midfielder Aaron Mbemba has brought the number in camp to 23.

The arrival of Brazil-based striker Andrew Mulenga will complete the final squad assembled by coach Boyd Mulwanda.

Zambia is in Group A alongside tournament hosts Egypt, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and South Africa.

The Junior Chipolopolo have intensified preparations in Ismailia in readiness for their opening match against debutants Leone on Sunday in an 18:00 hrs kick-off.
