F.C. MUZA Bids Farewell to Key Players

F.C. MUZA has announced the departure of several key players, including its captain Clifford Mukambi, as part of a series of strategic moves in the new season. The club confirmed that Mukambi, a defensive stalewart since 2019, has completed a transfer to Green Eagles FC.
Mukambi’s tenure at F.C. MUZA was marked by significant achievements. He was a central figure in the team’s promotion to the Super League, their run to the 2023 ABSA Cup final, and their qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup.
“Clifford was a hardworking and disciplined player who consistently demonstrated a high level of consistency and discipline on the pitch,” said F.C. MUZA CEO, Joe Kabika.
Kabika also extended its thanks to Green Eagles FC for a cooperative transfer process.
In other transfer news, F.C. MUZA has also sold young defender Humphrey Mutale to Mutondo Stars. Mutale, a product of the club’s youth system, Young MUZA, is set to continue his career with the Kitwe-based team.
The club has also finalized several loan agreements to give its players more playing time. Goalkeeper Kelvin Saili and midfielder Emmanuel Turner have been loaned to National League side River Plate. Additionally, midfielder Kunda Chabala and striker Godfrey Chinga have joined Chirundu United on loan. A trio of players—defender Mark Masuwa, midfielder Jimmy Hamazuka, and winger Jackson Banda—have been loaned to National League outfit Locus.
F.C. MUZA wished all the departing players the best in their new endeavors.
