Chisala Reflects on Recovery Session, Vows Bounce-Back Against Botswana

Chipolopolo’s Harrison Chisala has expressed confidence and renewed focus following the team’s recovery session held today at Freestate University, as Zambia prepares to take on Botswana in their next fixture.
Speaking after the session, Chisala reflected on lessons learned from the previous match, particularly the lapse in concentration that led to conceding from a set piece.
“It went well from the beginning of the session up to the end. All I can say is it’s only concentration, we lost focus, and the coach has been emphasizing consistency,” he said. “We made a mistake on a set piece and allowed a goal. That was wrong, but overall, the game was okay. We created so many chances but couldn’t convert them.”
Looking ahead, Chisala assured fans that the team is determined to bounce back stronger in their upcoming clash against Botswana.
“This coming game, everyone is ready. We know we missed out on three points, but we’re very much ready for Botswana,” he emphasized.
He also had a message for Zambian supporters: “All I can say is keep on supporting us. We’re going to work hard, and with your support, we’re going to make it.”
Chipolopolo will be hoping to secure a vital win as the tournament continues, with the team focused on correcting past errors and converting chances into goals.
