Chaiwa Vows Chipolopolo Will “Bounce Back” After Setback

Chipolopolo midfielder Miguel Chaiwa has assured Zambian fans that the national team remains determined to fight back following their recent disappointment in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Posting on his official Facebook page, Chaiwa thanked supporters for their unwavering backing despite the unfavorable result.

“Thank you for your support and showing up for us, not the result we all wanted but we will forge ahead, fight and bring back the glory to you… You have shown us nothing but more love even in this bad phase, we shall bounce back. Thank you ba Chipolopolo,” he wrote.

The midfielder’s message comes after Zambia’s 2-0 setback against Morocco on Monday in a Group E 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
