Brian Mwila Explains Short-term Move to Kansanshi Dynamos

Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club have bolstered their attacking line with the signing of Zambian international striker Brian Mwila on a three-month contract.
Mwila joins the Mabanga Boys as a free agent following his recent stint in the Angolan Premier League with Sagrada Esperança. The experienced forward has previously turned out for several top Zambian clubs, including Green Buffaloes, Zanaco, Power Dynamos, and Buildcon.
Speaking to the club’s media after signing, Mwila said he was thrilled to join a team he described as ambitious and competitive.
“I’m excited. Kansanshi Dynamos is not a small club, it’s a big club that has shown it can play good football. As a striker, you always want to be part of a team that plays good football, and I’m happy to be here,” he said.
With Kansanshi Dynamos showing promise this season despite struggling to convert performances into wins, Mwila is determined to help turn things around.
“Obviously, the club has brought me in to perform a certain role — the role of a striker,” he explained. “My job is to help the team get goals and work together as a unit. I’ve come here not to change anything, but to give my best and contribute to the team’s success.”
The 29-year-old, who describes himself as “always ready, like a soldier,” says his goal is to help Kansanshi Dynamos secure their position in the MTN Super League.
“In football, you need to be a warrior,” he said. “My target is to help the team maintain their place in the MTN Super League. In football, everything is possible.”
Mwila also had a message for the fans:
“People should just expect the Brian they know. I know what I’m capable of, and nothing has changed.”
His arrival adds both experience and attacking depth to Kansanshi Dynamos as they look to climb the Super League table.
