Andrew Phiri Departs F.C MUZA After Scoring 89 Goals
 
            F.C MUZA has announced the departure of club icon Andrew Phiri, who has signed with Tanzanian top-flight side Singida Black Stars. Phiri leaves the club as F.C MUZA’s all-time leading scorer, having netted an impressive 89 goals across all competitions since joining in 2018.
Phiri’s contributions were instrumental in the club’s rise from FAZ Division One Zone Four back to the Zambian Super League. During his tenure, F.C MUZA achieved significant milestones, including qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup and reaching the 2023 ABSA Cup finals.
Individually, Phiri won five consecutive club top scorer awards, Player of the Year honors, and at the national level, MTN/FAZ Super League Young Player of the Season and Fans’ Player of the Season awards. He also secured two COSAFA Cup titles with the Zambia national team.
F.C MUZA CEO Joel Kabika praised Phiri’s contributions, saying, “We will forever cherish Phiri’s achievements and the joy and pride he brought to the club. His scoring prowess, passion, and dedication elevated the club to greater heights. We wish him all the best, and F.C MUZA will always be his home.”
